Creating a United Front
Baltimore is rich with artists who are striving to reach the diverse
cultures of the city. Since it's inception, The Collective has worked
to serve as a catalyst to bring the dance community of Baltimore
together, and now continues its effort as a member of DanceBaltimore!,
a newly formed arts organization whose mission is to enhance the
role of dance in the city. In addition to their work as members of
DanceBaltimore!, the Collective annually hosts Open Marley Night,
an informal performance that brings numerous area dance companies
and soloists together to create a feeling of unity and support
within the dance community.
